Saturday 18th September – dance to "Luna Ghost"
This band plays regularly round the coast and at Young Farmers functions, they mainly do cover version of songs through the decades, so something for everyone. Tickets £5, bar at club prices, car parking, disabled facilities. Please call 01362 687360 or 01362 687585.
News
As part of the Breckland Theatre Season, we welcomed the Norwich Puppet Theatre to Longham Village Hall. Gemma Khawaja devised and performed her show “Liang and the Magic Paintbrush”.
This was a show about a painter Liang who is too poor to buy a paintbrush and the audience join him on a magical adventure where his dreams come true. We had an audience of 40 people with ages ranging from 16 months to 83 years, who all enjoyed this wonderful show of magic and imagination. £55 was raised for Village Hall funds.
On the same day the Village Hall had a bottle tombola stall at the mini fete at the White Horse Pub. Thank you to all those people who donated bottles of every kind for this stall, unfortunately the weather wasn’t brilliant which meant not many people were at the fete; however £73 was raised for Village Hall funds.

Keep Fit There is a keep fit session in the Hall every Tuesday night at 7:30pm, why not come along and join us. It’s a fun evening with no pressure, do as much or as little as you can manage, wear comfortable clothes and trainers. Sports and Social Club The Sports and Social Club is open every Friday Night from 8-12pm. Bar at Club prices, pool, darts, dominoes, children’s activities table. Darts Team play matches on Friday nights. |
Booking Fees
Villagers - £9 per hour
Sports and Social Club Members - £8 per hour
Non villagers - £13 per hour
If the bar is required, there will be a £20 nominal charge
A £3 corkage charge will be levied per bottle of wine or champagne brought on to the premises.
The Playing field is also available to hire - rates negotiable.
Crockery Hire - 50p per place setting or 5p per item.
